Blog 2: Why did you choose this career?

When i was a child i wanted to be a chef, i've always liked to cook, but later i became a vegan so my options were limited because there was at the time no gastronomy if you were a vegan. Beside of that i always liked to draw, and also my mom wanted me to enter the university so i started studying arts in the Universidad de Chile.

My favorite part of it is that i am able to use some technique that i love, like woodcut, etching and silk-screen, and also to learn more about new technique. I really enjoy that even though i don't like much the theory courses. I would like very much if i could live from selling my work so i have the time to work on my projects without having to worry to work on something else.

Best holidays ever

Hello, in today’s blog I will talk about one of my best vacations.  When I left high school I went with my two best friends on vacations. We raised money together working on different things, and we bought bus tickets so we could go to Argentina! Just before traveling I had an accident, which delayed my departure so my friends waited for me in Buenos Aires, and when I arrived they went to pick me up at the terminal. We stayed that night in a hostel and the next day we went to stay at the house of a friend of my aunt. Once we were installed we went to buy spray paint, they were so many cans that the room was full of them, I had never had so much paint together before. We went out to paint every night we were there, to make the most of the time. I had never been on vacation with friends before that and it was one of my best experiences, which I hope to repeat soon.

They are the two little dogs of the house, Pewma and little Marla, which grows too fast, are very regalones and love to be with us in the living room lying next to the heater. Pewma three months ago had 8 puppies, they were all very cute, some had an eye of different color: one brown and one light blue. I grew fond of one who had changed eyes, had a lot of personality and loved to bite everything. She was brown with light brown unlike almost everyone else who was black. Because she was so pretty, they adopted her from the first, and I couldn’t say goodbye. That made me sad, but it was still okay since we had to give them all up for adoption. The last one was Marla, who is all black and lay low among the eight dogs, as she had nothing to distinguish her from the others. She is very messy and loves to bite everything, for example my nose when I take her in my arms. Despite being so messy we love her very much, Pewma and the two cats we have.

First thing you'll do when quarantine is over

The most I want to do on the way back from quarantine is go out and see my friends, so I can go perrear hahaha. I want to finish the musical projects I have with my friends. I have a homestudio where my friends come to record but with the quarantine all of our projects are left unfinish, I have been able to record pretty much but I have not been able to get together with my friend who makes videos, and since the beginning of the pandemic we have many ideas that we have not been able to realize and that frustrates me pretty much. I’m frustrated that I can’t see the people I love and share so many projects with them. When the quarantine is over I’m going to be able to get together with all my friends and try to do everything I can and get on with my music.
