i am miguel

My favorite piece of technology is my stereo. I got it 9 months ago when I move to my new place, but I have always enjoyed the music when it sounds clean, good and loud. It can be with a good speaker as well as a stereo or a amplifier.  I use it everyday because I love to listen to music. When I wake up I put some music to start the day, I use it when I get home from the university, and also sometimes I connect it to the computer so I can watch movies or tv series with a louder sound. I like it because I like to pay attention to the track, the bass and drums... If I did not have my stereo my life would be pretty much the same because I would not stop listening to music or what so ever, but maybe it would be a little bit more boring to just listen to it with my cellphone speakers or the computer...

When i was a child i wanted to be a chef, i've always liked to cook, but later i became a vegan so my options were limited because there was at the time no gastronomy if you were a vegan. Beside of that i always liked to draw, and also my mom wanted me to enter the university so i started studying arts in the Universidad de Chile. My favorite part of it is that i am able to use some technique that i love, like woodcut, etching and silk-screen, and also to learn more about new technique. I really enjoy that even though i don't like much the theory courses. I would like very much if i could live from selling my work so i have the time to work on my projects without having to worry to work on something else.

Hello, my name is Miguel Acevedo Fonseca, i was born Santiago, Chile. I grew up in San Bernardo and study in a high school in the center of Santiago. i decided to study plastic arts in the Universidad de Chile and i'm in my last year. My family is from to south of Chile and always go on summer break, my grandmother is from Valdivia and every see i go makes blackberry jam.  I like cooking, my favorite food is pizza. I'm vegan five years ago and i like to make new recipes. I like the screen printing and xylography, are my favorite technique to do my work. I like spending the day printing xylography because i relax i also like urban music.
